2020 Oscar nominations

The 2020 Oscar nominations are in, and we are over the moon that Todd Phillips’s “Joker” led with 11 nominations including “Best Picture.”

As with Roma in 2019, Netflix’s “The Irishman” and “Marriage Story” are in the running for “Best Picture,” scoring a total of ten and six nominations, respectively. However, the 2019 Oscars and the 2020 Golden Globe Awards prove that the most nominations do not necessarily translate into wins.
